HUCE's
Language Institute
is looking for qualified ESL, Test Preparation, and Foreign
Language instructors.
|
- Instructors are needed
for day, evening, and Saturday classes
- ESL Instructors should have
a minimum of two years experience. Our General English classes
are non-academic and are taught in the evenings on Mondays
through Thursday nights. Generally, a faculty member teaches
two nights per week from 6:15 - 9:15 pm. Salary ranges from
$22 - $25/hour.
- Test Preparation Instructors can choose teaching the
verbal components or the math components. Courses are
generally held in the evenings and on Saturdays. Currently,
we are in dire need of instructors who can teach the verbal
components of the SAT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT. Salary ranges
from $22 - $30/hour.
The verbal components include Reading,
Logical/Critical Reasoning, Antonyms, Essay Writing,
Analogies, Sentence Completion, and Sentence Correction.
You may elect to teach one or more components. A component
may be 2-4 hours long.
The math components include Discrete
Quantitative , Quantitative Comparisons, Graphs, Data
Sufficiency and Student-Produced Responses. You may
elect to teach one or more components. Math components
are generally 3-4 hours long.
